Wiwaldi—the dog has been a familiar face for many years on the cult German TV show "Zimmer frei!" and is the host of the first late-night puppet show, "Die Wiwaldi Show." He is accompanied by his equally popular colleagues and sidekicks: the old circus horse Horst-Pferdinant, the charming assistant Traudl, the drunken blue shark Hai, the pit bull Purzel, the sinister cockroach Kakerlak and his baby Kakerlaks, the whiny mop Jammerlappen, and the elderly couple Omi and Opi Flönz (originally from the Cologne area).
